Hi!
Aaah... summer is here! Flowers, barbeques, family reunions,
weddings -and well a LOT of baseball games here!
I just returned from Georgia where my son played in a
national wood bat tournament. We experienced some of that
true southern hospitality!
It's really refreshing to deal with folks that are truly full of joy
and share it with everyone! In fact it is infectious!
We didn't return with a southern drawl but hopefully brought back a
just a little bit of the warmth and kindness to share.
Try it! Move just a little slower, listen just a little longer and
share a few more smiles. It feels GOOD!!

Anyway,it's kind of funny how our childrens' activities can often
throw a monkey wrench into a family vacation, huh?
This brings me right into one of the main segments in last month's
newsletter regarding a "Power Re-Charge" a.k.a. "PRC".
For those of you who may have missed it, I challenged each of you
busy moms to spend at least 2-3 hours on yourself 4 times a month.
This was to be something to do that brings you joy, peace and
revitalization.
I promised to share with you what I did.... so here it is:
1. I took a spontaneous sunny day off while the kids were at school
and planted flowers all day!
2.Went to get a pedicure ( guilt- free!)
3.Wrote a note of appreciation and encouragement to my neighbor
with a basket of flowers
4. Went to a small town shop with a dear friend and bought some new
curtains and a candle for our kitchen.
(it's really awesome to go for a drive and chat with a
good buddy, shop and have a little lunch)
5.Went on a "date" with my teen son and had a simple lunch.
( It gave me a chance to just tell him how proud I am of him and to
encourage him in his dreams...)
6.Went for a few walks in a beautiful park with some music in my
ears
7..Went on a "2 day get-a-way" with my tween daughter. We went to
a
dude ranch in the Adirondacks where we went horseback riding,
shopped a little and went out for a nice finale dinner.
Most of all we just talked mom -to- daughter with no interruptions!
The funny thing is we had NO cell phone service or TV where we
were. What a blessing it turned out to be!
** Next month I'll be sharing an awesome program that might want
to share with your tween **

Reflecting on the simple things in life often provides therapeutic
relief from life's stressors and pains.
There you go.....just a few "PRC" moments that I wouldn't
normally have done...and haven't in a VERY LONG time!!
It was SOOO.. refreshing and rejuvenating. I think that might be
why this newsletter is a little late:) !
Taking the time for a "PRC" is simply a necessity for busy moms
today! Don't be so "bizzi" that you miss special moments that
could quickly pass you by.

Changes are underway in Bizzimom Planners Land!
Now officially entering year # 3 in business, I've learned quite a
lot. As some of you may know, I designed the Bizzimom Planner
literally at my kitchen table.
Having had no formal business background, I've had to endure a
few growing pains!
Production costs are up--and I've hired a new printing company
here in the USA.
For 2008, I will be offering the same style planner that currently
exists. With it will come only minor modifications.
- 2008 Monthly Planners will be available this FALL in:
- smaller version only (4.75"by 7.5")
- JAN-DEC version only
You may find yourself interested in a few bonuses and accessories
which are coming down the path as well.
Being a V.I.P member, you'll be receiving insider information and
even some special bonuses!
Due to production costs, I will be eliminating the Bizzi-Boomer
Planner, the Academic Planner and the Christian Planner and the
larger planner at this time.
The year 2007 was a true "test" year for Bizzimom Planners Inc.
It
was important that I understood what the majority of you like
and prefer!
Hands down--- it was the smaller planner-- so it will be! Many of
you told me that you love being able to fit it in your purse.
In fact, one of my customers called me earlier this week and told me
that she simply cannot live without it!
Thank you to all who have shared a thoughtful word of encouragement
to me....you have no idea how it fuels my perserverance! xo
As always, I will count on YOU for feedback and suggestions. My
goal is to keep you moms out there happy and feeling
in control of your "bizzi" lives!
Encourage your other mom friends to sign up for my newsletter. As
you can see, I will not bombard you with excessive
e-mails... it's one of my pet peeves! Anyone who signs up for the
newsletter will be eligible to receive a free bonus with the
purchase of the new 2008 planner. It'll be my "thank you" to you
for sticking with me!!
Newsletter subscribers will be getting the first heads up on
release of the 2008 planners as well as a special bonus!
It's easy as you know...just visit http://www.bizzi2go.com
and sign up for free newsletter on the home page!

So, how did you like the Internet Safety Acronym List?
Have you found it and the topic on sexual predators
to be helpful?
I have become friends with a few members of the non-profit
organization from the Carlie's Crusade. You may recall the well
televised coverage on the abduction and murder of 11 year old
Carlie Bruscia in 2004.
Their non for profit organization has started a website to share
Carlie's story as well as an abundance of valuable information.
I would highly recommend it!!
They have started a foundation whose purpose is to teach, inform
and ultimately help to save the lives of other children.
My daughters and I took the opportunity to attend a free training
seminar provided througn the Crusade just a few months ago.
What we three learned in only 3 hours was both life changing and
empowering.
Please do yourself and your children a favor and visit their
website at http://www.carliescrusade.org ... and do take your time.
They are continuing to build upon it and have a wealth of valuable
information and links to some wonderful---sites.
This applies to younger children on up to adults!
I get paid nothing to endorse them---simply put---I believe in what
they are doing and now have a passion for this cause.
Visit them---send your friends
to http://www.carliescrusade.org
BTW-(that's.. "by the way"), Bizzimom Planners Inc. has made a
commitment to donate to this worthy cause every year.

Time Management Tip of the Month:
Summer is often a great time for families and friends to reconnect.
First, think about someone in your life that you have wanted to or
intended to get together with for a long time.
Take out your planner and select a few possible options that would
work. Finally, pick up the phone and call that special
person... you'll be so glad you did!!
Life is sweet and oh so short---make the most of each day!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lunchtime doesn't have to be hectic! Here is a way to have some fun
with your kids and be able to do it quickly.
Here is a kid-friendly recipe that I came across, which can be made
by kids,includes five or less ingredients,and only take five minutes
to create. Have fun!
STRING CHEESE SUB:
Ingredients needed:
·
1 split hot dog bun (or whole wheat alternative)
·
1 tablespoon salad dressing
·
1 leaf of lettuce
·
1 slice of lunch meat ( I've been asking the deli dept for meats
minus the nitrates-)
·
1 string cheese
Spread dressing on bun.
Place lettuce in bun.
Roll lunch meat around string cheese.
Place in bun. -Enjoy!!
Until next time....enjoy life's simple pleasures!
Warm Regards,
Tammy
