Well,I thought we were heading towards Spring.
Instead of birds singing and bulbs popping out of the ground,
we're staring at piles and piles of snow here in NY!
Anyone out there from South Carolina?
It sure looks like a nice place to live! :-)
Grab a cup o' java or tea and curl up for a few minutes.
I've been "bizzi" gathering some information that you
might find interesting. I've designed the Bizzi Bulletin in a way
to allow you to scroll down and only read what YOU find interesting.
It is my sincere hope that you will learn something new along the
way and have a laugh or two.Enjoy!

Bizzi2Go Planner TIP of the MONTH:
Tis the season for "bizzi" schedules, be it your child's sports
or
other activities. A trick that I share with other Bizzi2Go Planner
users is to scan their child's schedule down to about 50% its
original size.If you don't own a scanner/copier, any office supply
store can do it for you. Simply cut down to size and insert the
schedule in one of the clear sheaths located at the front or rear
of the planner.-I love it!

Introduction to the CHILD SAFETY SERIES-TIP of the month:
I know this has nothing to do with time management, but it has become
a passion of mine to gain as much knowledge and to share it with
other parents such as yourself.
Yes, I'm a mom and also an RN.I do not claim to be an expert...
only a mom with a mission to help protect the innocent.
I am making a commitment to share very revelant information to you
about the dangers that our children are facing in the 21st century.
This may be an uncomfortable subject for you, but as moms
we naturally face this fear... CHILD ABUSE and ABDUCTION.
At some point in your child rearing you're likely to know of
someone who has been a victim of some kind.
**I Am A Mother At War Against Sexual Predators!**
I have chosen to direct this energy to serve a purpose and that is
to share valuable information to YOU.I am making a commitment
to dig and report my findings with you... one nugget at a time.
*Knowledge is in fact, power and we must choose to gain it AND
share it for the sake of our children!*
In my recent digging I came across some very humbling data at one of
my favorite new websites, http://www.familywatchdog.us:
~Did you know that approximately 1 in 5 girls will be molested
before their 18th birthday?
~Did you know that approximately 1 in 6 boys will be molested
before they turn 18?
~Did you know that approximately 1 in 5 children have been sexually
propositioned to on the internet?
~Did you know that approximately 90%...I repeat 90%
of all assaults are perpetrated by someone the victim knows?
Many states have inadequate notification to the public
when an offender has been released into communities
such as yours. Offenders have a known history of making
frequent "moves" from place to place, often times without
our knowledge.
In my research I have come across several very informative
resources, one of which I will share with you today.
I found a great website called Family Watchdog which offers a
complimentary service to you. Simply by typing in an address they
can disclose all registered sex offenders near the periphery of
that particular address. It displays a map based on the address
typed in so you can see exactly where the offenders reside. The map
display really gives a visual estimate.
(This can be a great tool for someone who plans to move to a new
area!)
Family Watchdog also displays the offense and what the offender
looks like.Uncomfortable as it may be, I have found it to be
empowering.
They also do a good job of filling in the blanks by contacting
you just as soon as an offender is released into your community.
For me, it was a "no-brainer"".
(It is much easier than going through the State Registry)

flag and more!

BATHING SUIT SEASON is right around the corner-YIKES!
So how's the "diet" going :) ? If you are a "real" person
and you
think that "d-i-e-t" is a curse word you might want to visit my
friend Cate.
Cate and her hubbie lost a combined
total of 60 lbs. over the course of one year.
Her testimony and e-book "Real People Don't Diet"
is becoming a hit amongst busy moms in the real world.
I've started to implement her "make sense" methods in my own life.
Cate has a great and yummy way to make "mashed potatoes" too!
I'm proud to say that my "fat" jeans are much looser after only
one
month!

RECIPE of the month:
Speaking of the "D"- word I have another favorite recipe to share
with you. Hey...you can have some too!! Here it is:
CHEESY BREAD: (it's "real"ly good and it goes great with the
Chicken Tortellini Soup recipe from Vol.#1)
Ingredients:
1 hunk of pre-made pizza dough
1 cup shredded mixture of sharp cheddar cheese
garlic powder or fresh garlic
Preheat oven to 400 degrees; Spray cookie sheet with nonstick spray;
Stretch out the dough in the air--pretend you're a pro-pizza maker!
Throw the stretched out dough on to the cookie sheet
(don't worry it doesn't need to be perfect at all!)
Sprinkle the cheeses throughout the dough; Sprinkle crushed
garlic or garlic powder (BOTH if you want to scare someone away!)
Now, from left to right bring the dough pieces together,
pinching as you go; Poke just a few holes in the top with a fork;
Place in pre-heated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden
brown.
Let cool for about 10 minutes before you slice--Enjoy!
(Be creative...add a lots of veggies, chicken or pepperoni in the
bread!)
*If you would like to share any of YOUR favorites I'd love to hear
from you!*

FINANCIAL TIPS to address the other "D" word - "DEBT":
My friend, Leo Quinn has some creative tips for getting away from the
dreaded "DEBT-monster"! If you're tired of "handing over" your
paycheck every month I encourage you to consider a refreshing
approach developed by my local friend Leo.
Because I found Leo's approach to be so valuable I'd like to share
it with you.
He's been a guru on the topic for over 10 years, teaching classes
on Debt Management and Finances in our local communities and now
travels the globe sharing his expertise.
I was surprised at some pretty BIG mistakes we were making in
regards to our own family finances.
My only regret is that I didn't have access to his book 15 years
ago.
I would encourage you to take a peek at Leo's formula in,
"
How To Own Your Paycheck Again" at:
http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/aftrack.asp?afid=533169
This book is loaded with eye openers that "the world" may not
want you to see. GREAT tips and reources along with Leo's own
formula that can help anyone get out of debt.
